On one side with cheeses : crottin of Chavignol and goat cheese of
Sainte-Maure ; on the other side with wines : Vouvray and Mont-Louis for white,
Bourgueil and Chinon for red, Centre produces strawberry, mushrooms, asparagus as well as
chocolate and "Pithiviers" cakes.
Among its other specialities, we can notice potted minced pork of Tours.
Concerning craftmans trade, we could mention : ceramic and pottery (Indre),
ceramic, tapestry and glovery (Loir-et-Cher). |
