The region of Auvergne in the centre of France produces 5 cheeses with the AOC-label (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée):

In Haute-Loire, you could find delicious liquors of Velay, (verbena, juniper, sloe gins).


The Region is notrious for pork butchery, and produces in Haute-Loire asparagus, and green lentil (Le Puy).

In craftman’s tradition, we could notice cutlery at Thiers in Puy-de-Dôme and wooden umbrella manufacturing in Cantal.
